In this, a World Cup year, football will be everywhere as the nation unites in unlikely expectations and eventual disappointment. This won't however, come as any surprise to the real football fan, and it is you that we want to hear from.

My Team is a chance for supporters of every team from Chelsea to Southport to tell it like it really is and help us to immortalise your team in verse. We want to know what it really feels like to travel 300 miles to an away game that you know you will lose, to stand in the rain, eating a soggy pastie of better-not-ask origins whilst watching 22 players mud wrestle in a meaningless end-of-the-season mid-table waste of time. But most of all we want to hear you describe those once in a lifetime moments of glory - the unlikeliest of results that feeds your impossible dream and drives you on and on, year after year. Being a football fan, a proper football fan, is what this anthology is about, so whether it is glory days or gory night games, here is your chance to tell it like it is and show what it means to you to support your team.

We all love a shaggy dog story, and Buster, the cover star of our newest Anthology Animal Magic certainly has a tale or two to tell. Anybody who has a pet as part of their family will tell you that they make a real contribution to family life and whether it is muddy paw prints on a clean floor or a cat that loves to roll around in sprout peelings, we want to hear your stories in verse about what it is that makes your pet magic.

The first Patchwork Press anthology is one that will be close to everybody's heart - your hometown.

No matter where you are from, whether you live there still or have long left your roots behind, My Hometown asks you to tell everybody what the place of your birth or childhood means and meant to you.

This anthology is one that we fully expect to be our most popular - Poems of Love.

Everybody has experienced that special moment when you see the one for the first time. We've all felt the tingle down our spine, the flushed cheeks and the knots forming in our tongue, however eloquent we might normally be, as we try to be calm and not look a fool.

We've all met that person that makes life worth living and we now would love to hear, in verse, your desciptions of that certain someone that makes it all seem special just by being around.
